I think you went to the legacy AS3 zip file, these do not work any more as I think Google is not supporting this:( Instead use the latest API AS3 version located in the repository under the 'library' folder. As you may notice this blog post has an example flash movie using this version and it still works.

Hi,
Ok, thank you for your answer! This means that the AS2 version doesn't work anymore? Because I tested the AS3 version and it doesn't work. This isn't a problem of API key? Thank you for your responses.

The AS2 version I think was using a legacy version of the YouTube Data API, where as the AS3 have been updated to the latest. This might be the problem?

Hi, first happy new year!
So, I downloaded your AS2 sources this morning and every thing was good! But now, nothing work, I don't know why! I changed nothing, just empty the cache. Do you know why it doesn't work now?
Thanks a lot,
Jp

Things have improved with the YouTube API since I wrote this article. The best option is to use the You Tube Player API. I have included this within the project. The skinless option is not a reliable option compared to the official public API.

Thanks Cindy, I am pretty sure that function is part of the Adobe FLVPlayback component and is not to do with the YouTube API
